Winter Festival 2025
On the evening of Tuesday the 24th of June, the students, families and staff of PSC came together to celebrate the Winter Festival.
The evening was serene and reverent as students, staff, parents and friends walked the spiral, then gathered to sing winter songs around the warming bonfire. Towards the end of the evening, the campus community shared a delicious meal of warm soup, bread and cheese beside fire pits built by our own Class 9s, followed by students fire twirling.
The Winter Festival and walking the spiral, allows for a rekindling of our inner light during the Winter Solstice - a time of darkness, where we experience the longest night and the shortest day of the year. The journey that we each take through the spiral also represents an inner journey to find our own ‘light’ within and reminds us that if we reach inward to our inner resources, we will meet the challenges ahead with renewed strength and resilience.
It was a perfect night to gather as a community.
