High School Science - Ecology Class 8

Last year the science department was donated a large fish tank from another school. After lots of ideas and  research the science department decided to turn it into a self sustaining closed ecosystem terrarium. The class 8‘s readily took up the task, designing the landscaping and plants within that were grown from propogating earlier in the year.

The terrarium is looking fantastic 6 months on and we are hoping to incorporate some invertebrates soon. When up in the high school take a peek inside the Kirkwood classroom to see the tank.
