Open Day and Fair – Next Sunday 8^th September

How exciting – the PSC and STSS Open Day and Fair is on Sunday 8^th September from 10:00am-2:00pm. Thank you to everyone who is contributing, in whatever way, to showcase our wonderful school, and the richness of Steiner Education. 

HELP!!!

Parent rosters have been emailed out, and we need parents and carers, older brothers and sisters, aunts, and uncles to put their names down on the rosters. Every little bit of time and energy helps. Help is across the primary and high school, so there are a variety of ways to volunteer.

Open Day is a compulsory day for both primary and high school students and Monday 9th September is a day off in lieu.  

Nationwide We Work

Steiner Education Australia held its national meeting last weekend in the Dandenong Ranges. There are seven Steiner schools in WA and more than sixty nationwide. The meeting was a gathering of school reps from around the country. 

The verse chosen for the event speaks to the unfolding of each human being during their time on earth and the opportunity for renewal and learning.

We must be educated in inner human modesty,
So we can recognize that we are not, 
Even for a moment, 
Complete as human beings.
Instead, we continue to develop from birth until death. 
We must recognise that every day of life has a special value
that it is not without purpose.
We need to learn that each new day and each new year offers continual renewal.

This week's Pabulum is packed with opportunities to do courses including local sports clubs, a wooden spoon workshop and information about what our students are doing in science, geography, on camp, the Class 12 projects, and lots more. This is a robust community with a verve for life. Enjoy!
